Playground Clock Face

Project Overview

Platinum Linemarking completed a large playground clock face at a school in Mittagong, Southern Highlands NSW. The marking was designed for outdoor telling-the-time activities with students learning to read analogue clocks.

The clock face deliberately does not include hour and minute hands — children draw them on in chalk when teachers ask them to show a particular time. This turns the playground into an interactive lesson and keeps the activity fresh every session.

Educational playground markings like this support numeracy and time-telling skills while giving schools a durable, weather-resistant feature that complements classroom learning.
