Underground Car Park Walkway

Project Overview

Platinum Linemarking completed numbered bays, a safety walkway and directional arrows in a basement car park across Sydney Metropolitan. The layout needed to guide pedestrians clearly through a busy underground environment with constant vehicle traffic.

This project required a bespoke colour arrangement. Tyres were leaving black scuff marks on the coloured line markings, making walkways hard to see and wearing the paint out too quickly.

We applied a black walkway with a white outline so tyre marks blend into the black paint while the white border stays visible for pedestrians — improving safety and extending the lifespan of the markings.
